Don't close the circle

A horseshoe creates opportunity

After Skooliepalooza 2023, a lot of those in attendance described a concern that due to the growth of Skooliepalooza that we would lose connection with community and that instead we would become a mini-Burning man. As we enter a new era with many new community members from all walks of life, we are encouraging everyone to not close the circle.

Why?

A closed circle is not inviting or welcoming. It is not inclusive. It creates a barrier to the opportunity to meet and intentionally connect with new people, their stories and enrich your life. While there are some of us who will happily just walk through to the sound of laughter and introduce ourselves, most will not. Let’s all move through this great creation with intention. You might just find your next brother, sister, partner, or best friend.
